The state-run Power Sector Assets and Liabilities Management (PSALM) Corp. has allotted the capacity of its remaining power plants to customers in Mindanao. “We will continue to service our customers while in the process of completing the privatization program. In fact, the entire dependable capacity of PSALM’s remaining plants in Mindanao is allocated to them,” Lourdes Alzona, officer-in-charge of PSALM, said in a statement Thursday. PSALM remains the major power supplier in Mindanao with existing power contracts covering 49 customers that require 6,648 megawatts of capacity. Read more here.
