Another solar power developer is seeking a review of the awarded certificates of eligibility (COE) in the second round of Feed-in Tariff (FIT) for solar. In a statement yesterday, Citicore Power Inc. (CPI) is asking the new administration to review and make transparent the recent awarding made by the Department of Energy (DOE) under solar FIT. The company said most participating RE firms were still in the dark as to DOE’s procedures and their basis for awarding the FIT with some industry players questioning how the list of awardees was finalized despite several inquiries seeking to clarify the evaluation process.
