The Department of Energy (DOE) and the Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers (PSME) signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) to boost the DOE’s technical audit of the country’s generation, transmission, and distribution facilities.

The MOA was signed August 25 at the Energy department’s Central Office in Taguig City, the DOE said in a statement Saturday.

Earlier, the DOE also signed a MOA with the Integrated Institute of Electrical Engineers of the Philippines, Inc. (IIEE) to assist the DOE in the technical audit of power facilities.
