Palm Concepcion Power Corp. (PCPC) has invested $280 million to complete its 135-megawatt (MW) coal-fired power plant in Iloilo, which was recently inaugurated by President Duterte.

The power project is expected to speed up economic activities in the Visayas region, Energy Secretary Alfonso Cusi said.
